About Us

FCS IG is a specialized professional services practice offering Information Governance consulting services. We help our clients maximize the value of information and comply with legal requirements for its management. FCS IG accomplishes this by providing a range of records management, compliance, assessment, implementation, training and other services.

Mission

The mission of the Information Governance practice is to help our clients reduce the cost and risk associated with information mismanagement while maximizing the business value of their information assets.

We believe that a critical and ongoing challenge for all businesses today is the mismanagement of information. The failure to properly manage information destroys business value, slows organizations down, and exposes them to unnecessary risk & costs.

Further, we believe that a consulting firm, staffed with experts dedicated to professionalism and acting in the client’s best interest, can help organizations overcome this challenge and realize significant competitive advantage through better management of information.

A Practice of Forensics Consulting Solutions, LLC

The Origin of FCS IG

FCS IG is a division of Forensics Consulting Solutions, LLC (FCS), a leading e-discovery consulting company with a global reach. In the course of providing e-discovery services, FCS witnesses the pain and cost of information mismanagement on a daily basis. We founded FCS IG to help our clients take control of their information environment before litigation or regulatory investigations begin.

The FCS Professional Services Group focuses on helping clients mange their information after litigation or an investigation has already commenced.

FCS IG helps clients before a lawsuit or investigation begins. We focus on helping the client manage their information better so when a lawsuit or investigation does begin, the client is better prepared to find and prepare the evidence that is required, thereby reducing the cost and pain of e-discovery.

However, our services also help clients outside of the e-discovery context by making information easier for employees to find and use it; getting rid of unnecessary information (thus reducing costs); and complying with federal and state laws and regulations.
